Desks/Other:
My furniture is custom, usually customer-specific.
All my work is not pictured. If you don't see exactly what
you like, let me know, I may have done it before.

This Prairie style computer workstation has a monitor well, space for speakers,
CPU compartment, roll out drawers for a printer and fax machine, and slide out tray for
keyboard and mouse. The large cantilevered shelves provide space for other equipment
or just a nice layout surface. The customer desired a three-tier barrister style
bookcase to match and is seen on the right. To the left of the bookcase is a
two-drawer file cabinet. All in cherry with an oil finish and the knobs are
ebonized maple. $6775.00 |

To me, this piece is a wonderful blend of Japanese and
Prairie styles. Built-in art glass lighting on pull chains. Quartersawn white oak with
Tung oil finish, over a golden oak danish oil stain. The piece has cubbyholes, dedicated
areas for scanner, printer, CPU, monitor well, speaker shelves,
3 drawers including file drawer, shelves for books, hidden keypad/mouse tray, and
large writing area. There's more work in this piece
than meets the eye and the pictures don't capture the massive look of the piece. $4825.00
59H 83W 44D (with keypad/mouse tray extended) The design of course
can be altered to suit. |

Same desk as above. Just a
different look, and a door was added to the cubbyhole section. Same
dimensions and price as above. |

This computer desk and chair attempts to blend the Craftsman style
of Greene and Greene with Oriental Design. The set is done in cherry with
ebony splines connecting the bread - boarded ends to the top and ebonized maple
spindles in the sides and back. Side rails are through - tenoned into the
legs. Waterproof finish. The chair is done in a subtle Greene & Greene style in cherry
with ebony and ebonized maple accents. $2625.00 for the desk and $1075.00
for one chair. Table 29 1/2H 54W 32D. |

This was an extremely
massive reception desk I did for an architect's office in Utah
several years ago. The customer wanted to closely match the stain
used on the office trim, so I shipped the work unfinished to be
finished by a local shop. These pictures are included mainly as food
for thought, so no dimensions or prices are included. |

The architect described
above ordered this desk for personal use, like the piece above,
shipped unfinished so an exact stain match could be achieved
locally. I would think to duplicate this would be around $3900.00
For more info, let me know. |

Very large, massive and
almost "over the top" Prairie style desk in cherry. Done
for a Company president in Texas. Included here as food for thought.

A local church commissioned
this display case to house the Book for their Memorial Garden. The Garden has a
Japanese "feel" so I tried to give the piece an oriental look, and keep the
case-on-stand elegant and simple. The piece is done in white oak with a golden wash
to match most of the wood inside the church. The Memorial Garden has a large,
beautiful cherry tree as a focal point, so I used a cherry burl veneer for the door
panel. About $2125.00 |
