Lighting Fixtures:
All my lamp designs,  shades, and bases are done by myself, by hand.  The shades are 100% art glass and the bases are solid wood (no veneer).    All styles can be made in a variety of woods (white or red oak, mahogany, cherry, and maple or walnut on a special order basis).  Delivery times on these items varies.   If you'd like to explore altering a style below or you have a special request or commission, please contact me.
butflyinstlda.jpg (32244 bytes) im000007reduced.jpg (78580 bytes) butflychndtwo.jpg (40285 bytes) chndlirfrmbotm.jpg (40576 bytes) Because of the materials and designs on the market today, one can purchase a Wright designed Sumac (otherwise known as "Butterfly") chandelier very close to the originals hanging in Wright's Dana house in Springfield, Illinois.  Fortunately, all of the original manufacturers of the materials are still in business and still selling the same products.  The selling price for this piece is $12,925.00.  Because of the nature of the work, I'd prefer to deliver this piece myself.   Based on the customer's needs, I can custom fabricate a  hanging assembly similar to the one in the picture on the left,  one more like the original, or anything else for  that matter. I can also change the glass colors used if the customer so desires.  Construction time usually runs about a month and a half to two months.  For questions about these very special pieces, please contact me.  I have some other pictures on a  a special page devoted to this work.  For those folks seeking licensed copies of this piece, as designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, I'd suggest you start by contacting the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation.
